Марсело Тосатти (Marcelo Tosatti) объявил о выходе второго кандидата в релиз ядра Linux версии 2.4.30. В нее вошли некоторые исправления в безопасности, обновление для архитектуры IA64, исправления в сетевой подсистеме и многое другое. Эта версия может стать финальным 2.4.30, если не будет обнаружено серьезных ошибок.
Скачать патч Linux 2.4.29 -> 2.4.30-rc2 (107 КБ), 2.4.30-rc1 -> 2.4.30-rc2 (19 КБ). Changelog следует далее.
