А для тех, кто не спешит с переходом на ветку ядра Linux 2.6.x.(y), Марсело Тосатти (Marcelo Tosatti) приготовил третью предварительную версию ядра 2.4.30. В нее вошло множество разбросанных по коду исправлений, из которых выделить можно обновление драйвера e1000, обратный порт исправления для nForce и обновление SATA.
Патч Linux 2.4.29 -> 2.4.30-pre3 (85 КБ), 2.4.29-pre2 -> 2.4.29-pre3 (31 КБ).
